The Coaching in Style Client Pack includes everything you need to incorporate the Eagles, Parrots, Doves and Owls into the coaching process. Start by having your coaching client complete the Taking Flight with DISC Profile. After completing the assessment, they can receive the report and also a copy of their personalized Chameleon Leadership Profile. One assessment, two reports. By utilizing Flight Support, you provide Take Flight Learning with your client’s name and email address and we administer the assessment and generate the report.

Taking Flight with DISC Profile:

The Taking Flight with DISC Profile is based on the Eagle, Parrot, Dove, and Owl styles. Your profile will help you discover the most interesting topic of all- you!

The profile provides an in-depth analysis of your motivators, needs, fears, distinctive value to a team, how you relate to other styles, and your stress response. Individuals will learn about their unique strengths and challenges based on their style.

People will also discover the traits of characteristics of the four styles, the type of environment they will thrive in, and what you may need to do to be more effective. In addition, personalized content includes a one-page description of your general characteristics and information on your strengths, work tendencies, and your approach to conflict management.

Additional sections of the profile provide insight into how to build rapport with each of the styles, how to communicate with each style, and what you made need to accept about each style. Individuals will also discover how the styles can be overused, which results in turning strengths into behavioral challenges that decrease effectiveness and can damage relationships. The profile closes out with an action plan for personal development.

The Taking Flight with DISC Profile features the bird styles from Merrick Rosenberg’s books, Taking Flight! and The Chameleon. The profile is in integrated into all of Take Flight Learning’s training programs.

Chameleon Leadership Profile:

The Chameleon Leadership Profile is a comprehensive DISC-based leadership profile. Instead of the typical leadership report filled with boilerplate information about the styles, this report is filled with personalized insights that can benefit anyone who leads people.

The profile provides background information on the four styles and explains how the styles can be used by leaders. Each of the following areas includes personalized content of how the leader shines in each competency and how they might react when displaying these skills under stress:

• Communicating to staff
• Conveying vision
• Listening
• Running inclusive meetings
• Delegating
• Providing feedback
• Coaching and holding people accountable
• Engaging the team
• Creating culture

Each of the above competencies also includes an action planning component to guide leaders to develop those aspects of their leadership skills. To close out the report, a detailed section about what each style looks like when strengths are overused helps to guide action planning.

Individuals can take this assessment as a stand-alone profile or if they have already completed the Taking Flight with DISC profile; their results can be fed directly into this assessment without having to take it again.

Flight Support takes the logistics of profile administration, printing, and shipping off your plate, and includes any or all of the following services:

• Administer online profiles
• Track completions and nudge stragglers before your deadline
• Print completed profiles for each participant
• Ship profiles so you receive a perfectly packed box ready to open and use
